Most people only think of places like Paris and London when they think of fashion, but fashion is a conglomeration of thoughts and ideas from all over the world, and that is just one reason why the Art Institute of Seattle should be your first and only stop if you are interested in working in the fashion industry.
Seattle itself is known for its own fashion, and you can bring your experience and culture into the classroom as you pursue your Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design or Fashion Marketing. These two degree programs are meant for almost anyone who is interested in fashion - from making it to selling it.
The Fashion Design program offers hands-on training that will make all of your creative thoughts reality. You will get the experience of building a portfolio of your own work, based on sound fashion concepts, and the knowledge of textiles, technique, pattern design, and illustration. Fashion Marketing is more focused on people who are interested in how the garments get from the manufacturer to the consumer, the business side of fashion, as well as how products are displayed, sold, distributed, and marketed to the public.
